We mailed our applications for our Visas from Branson this week! We received notice today that our Visas are complete and on their home to us!

NVC Letter

We luckily received our NVC letter today. We were hoping to receive it before we left for Branson. FTIA needs a copy of it as soon as we get it, and we will be gone for a week. We received it, scanned, and emailed. NOW, we are off on vacation!

We decided on Audrie's middle name today, and filed her DC 230 which will be her visa application to come to the United States on her Chinese Passport.

Rosetta Stone

We ordered Rosetta Stone for us, and Your Baby Can Read for Ao Ying today. We are so excited to have received our pre-approval! We want to learn some basics about her language. And, although I am not sold that a Baby can Read... It looks like a comprehensive learning program that we can use to help teach her English.

Addendum to Home Study

We received our Addendum to our Home Study today. This was required since Ao Ying was so close to the upper range that we had been approved for. Also, her special need was not listed in our home study.
We must resubmit this to CIS Immigration now!

Pre-Approval Received Today

Today, we received word from Families Thru International Adoption Coordinator, Betty Betz, that our Pre-Approval came through. YEAH! We are one step closer to getting to bring her home!
