Our friends and families are definetely trying to help us find our baby! We have had many potential private adoptions, possible matches through Catholic Social Services, and referrals from China. Nothing seems to pan out. We just keep saying yes we are interested. Our theory is that we must open the door, and God will help us with the rest. If they are meant to be ours, it will happen; however, if we do not open the door, we will never know.
We are open to adopting any race, as young as possible, through private placement, through Catholic Social Service, or international.

Our LID date
March 25, 2010
The LID date is extremely significant. Many people who are adopting through China, sign their emails, etc. with their LID date. Ours is March 25, 2010. This means that we are on the list to wait for a child referral through the regular China program. Currently the wait time to receive a referral is approximately 4 years. UGH. Discouraging!

Dossier Received by FTIA

After months of compiling documents for the Dossier, we were very excited to get it to FTIA. We received the notice that they had received it and it would be traveling to China the next day.
