We joined the FTIA China 1010 group on Yahoo. This is great because we can talk with the other families traveling with us during the same dates to China!

Travel Plans

Things seem to be moving fast now! We booked our internationally flights this afternoon! We will be leaving from Indianapolis, IN, stopping in Newark, NJ... don't ask us why!, and then landing in Beijing. Our trip home will be from Guangzhou to Beijing to Newark, and back to Indy.
We had told them we were pretty open as to airports. We were looking for the best deals for the best flights. We listed St. Louis, Indianapolis, Louisville, and Evansville for options.

Our consulate appointment is confirmed, next step is booking travel. We are also able to request updates at this time since it has been over 3 months! YIPPEEE!

Travel Dates

We received estimated travel dates today! We will be traveling October 6-22, as long as the consulate appointment comes through! So far, it looks like we will be traveling with 3 other families. Oddly enough, one of the other families is adopting from the same provice. This will be nice to have travel companions.

Car Seat

Jerry found the car seat he wanted for his truck. We ordered it today through Sears. Small steps are making it feel more real. We cannot wait to go get our little girl!
